Fiber Naturell is alive and well. Stay tuned for changes. As everyone probably knows by now we operated without a lease since September of 07. January 31st of 08 we made the agonizing discussion to leave our Shelly Lane location. We have not relinquished anything. We retain everything the store has worked so hard for, for over 30 plus years. We are all looking forward to taking the Spring & Summer off. Business is notorious slow at this time for a Local Yarn Store. Whatever we choose to do will be later this fall. In the meantime I will be setting up my dye & design studio at home. I am now the proud owner of 4 washers, 3 stationary tubs, 2 microwaves designated for dyeing, multiple heat sources, (gas & electric) etc. I haven’t even begun to count the stainless steel pots we have collected over the years. Barbro Hardy published designer & TNNA member will stay on board. During the approximately 7 years I have had the privilege of owning Fiber Naturell I have traveled to many locations & have worked with many of the well known designers & dyers of the industry. I look forward to my time off this spring & summer from the tedious & time consuming chores of operating a store to actually being able to work at home designing, dyeing, knitting & doing all of the things that I have only been able to dream about till now. I would like to thank everyone for their continuous patronage & continued support of Fiber Naturell. I have listed new contact info on our web page & encourage everyone to feel free to get in touch with us. We will continue to support & spread the word of anything Fiber related. Even though snow is on the ground the gardening catalogs are arriving daily. Spring is in the air. Here’s wishing everyone a Great Summer! I know I am looking forward to it.
